Big Paul Hostel - El Nido

The staff were friendly and accommodating, always making sure we felt welcome and at home. the common area offered a chill atmosphere with complimentary rum and coke, perfect for relaxing and socializing with other guests. the hostel provided a towel, AC, and a safe in the room. the building was clean and new, giving a pleasant impression. there were comfortable mattresses available upstairs for those who needed a quieter sleep.

We felt very well looked after, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.

They made my stay enjoyable and made me feel welcomed. the hostel had a great atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to socialize and meet new people. the prices for drinks were very reasonable, and they even offered free shots and organized fun activities like karaoke. the location of the hostel was convenient, with a couple of great restaurants nearby and easy access to transportation to explore the area.

The room was cramped and lacked privacy, with bunk beds placed too close together and no curtains. the WiFi was practically non-existent, despite being advertised.

The staff at Big Paul Hostel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and a quick tricycle ride into town. the hostel had a great vibe, with a chill area upstairs and even some gym equipment. They also provided free shots and rum and coke every evening, which was a nice touch. as a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable at the hostel.

had a great rest in el nido, but Big Paul exceeded my expectations! their friendly young team and Lyn at reception were so lovely and helpful. the private room was big and clean, and the breakfast was good. overall, a great hostel experience.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I had an amazing time at this hostel! Stayed there for a week and met some amazing people. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was great, especially considering that 24-hour power is not guaranteed in this area. The free rum and coke every night was a fantastic bonus, and the free dinners and breakfasts were a nice touch. The location was convenient, just a short tuk-tuk ride away from town. I highly recommend this hotel!

There were occasional issues with the showers and toilets breaking down, requiring guests to walk to reception soaking wet.

I had a fantastic experience at Big Paul Hostel. the vibe was incredible, thanks to Paul and his amazing staff who created a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere. the beds were comfortable, and the rooms and washrooms were always clean. I loved the free unlimited rum and coke in the common room every night, as well as the free continental breakfast in the morning. Meeting interesting people from around the world at the long table was a highlight. the hostel also provided amenities like a water dispenser, TV for entertainment, and even a nap area and gym equipment. They also offered services like scooter rental and assistance with tours and transportation. Cons: Don't have any issues at all 👍.
